Do Not Sell My Personal Information
California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information. The meaning of “sale” under CCPA is broad and includes certain types of sharing.
Zutobi does not sell (as “sell” is traditionally defined) your personal information. That is, we don’t provide any personally identifiable information to third parties in exchange for money. However under Californian law, sharing information for advertising purposes may be considered a “sale” of personal information.
After you click the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” button an opt-out cookie will be placed and stored on your browser, preventing personal information from being made available from the Zutobi website to advertising partners for their own use independent of Zutobi.
The opt-out cookie only applies to the specific browser and specific device you were using when you made the selection. If you access the Zutobi website from another browser on the same device, or another device completely, you will need to remake this selection.
Please note:
- You will not be opted out of interest-based advertising. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- If you clear your browser’s cookies, our opt-out cookie will be deleted and you’ll need to remake the selection the next time you visit our website to opt out again.
- We don’t ask for any personal information because we don’t need it to honor your Do Not Sell My Personal Information request. In fact, with this method we can more effectively honor your request with the added bonus of doing so without relying on your name and address.
