Option 1: Driving school only
Professional instruction, a trained eye on technique, and state credit where behind-the-wheel hours are mandated. A good instructor builds correct fundamentals fast.
Most packages include six to ten hours behind the wheel. That isn’t enough repetition to make skills automatic, and most states still require 40 to 60 supervised hours with you on top. Lessons also rarely tell you what to practice between them.
Meeting state mandates and the skills you’d rather not teach yourself, like parallel parking. See how to choose a driving school.
