How does one become a good defensive driver?

You can become a good defensive driver by being aware of the road rules, staying focused, signaling your intentions, and driving defensively. This includes avoiding tailgating and/or suddenly cutting off other vehicles, allowing space for other vehicles to merge into your lane, and not unnecessarily gesturing or using your horn at other drivers.
