What is hydroplaning?
Hydroplaning is when a layer of water builds between your tires and the road surface. When you’re hydroplaning, you will often skid uncontrollably due to your vehicle ‘surfing’ on top of the water.
High speeds, low tread depth, and low air pressure increases the risk of hydroplaning.
