What should you do if you are driving below the speed limit but too fast for the conditions?

For your safety and the safety of other road users - slow down if you feel that you’re driving too fast for the conditions or that you can’t properly control your vehicle. It doesn't matter if the speed limit is lower, as the Basic Speed Law indicates the safe speed is what matters.
