Minimum age to start taking lessons: Teens can start taking driving lessons at the age of 14 and a half.
To obtain a driver's license, adults need to pass a driving test and obtain a learner's permit. They can take driving lessons to prepare for the test. There are no mandatory hours for adults in Idaho State, but taking lessons with a certified instructor is highly recommended.
