There are a lot of things you can do on your driver’s test that will result in an automatic fail. Automatic fails happen when you make a critical error, resulting in an instant fail. In these cases, it doesn’t matter how you’ve performed up to that point. Learn what the automatic fails are so you can pass your driving test.

- Sliding through the DMV exit
- Not creeping up for better visibility at an uncontrolled intersection
- Failure to yield to pedestrians or other cars
- Failure to check blind spots
- Bumping the curb when parking
- Improper lane change
- Lane violation
