Drive Smart also has bilingual male and female instructors, and FBI background checks are done annually. The program includes free DPS permit and road testing, and students receive a certificate upon completion. The "Adult Class" is a required six-hour course for those ages 18-24 or anyone over 18 in need of a driver's license. Lastly, Drive Smart offers a defensive driving class for ticket dismissal and insurance discounts in both English and Spanish.
